Building Bridges - Crossing Bridges - Linking Bridges
Comenius Regio 2009 - 2015
The first project 2009 - 2011 was Building Bridges which was followed by the Crossing Bridges project 2011 - 2013 and our new project we have called Linking Bridges.
The overriding purpose of all projects have been and are to support the collaboration between politicians, school authorities, the local school and organisations from the non-formal learning environment in order to improve the academic level as well as integration in general for children and young people of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds .
Intercultural Cook Book
The cookbook is not a traditional cookbook. The recipes are not only recipes but also recipes / examples of how to include a more international approach to teaching and to everyday school life.
Best practice - Integration
The aim of the project is to agree on best practise with regards to integration of migrants in the two partner regions and to develop a long lasting relation between the two twin cities Kaiserslautern and Silkeborg.
We think of integration as a continuous process through which a group with a different culture accommodates and is accepted by a larger group without the group being forced to take over the majority culture.
